What do I need to do to make a reservation?
Make a reservation by phone. You can also complete our online Boarding Agreement (PDF), save it and then submit online, The Boarding Agreement is required so if you aren't able to complete and submit online, you will be required to fill one out when you arrive.
What are the drop-off / pick-up times for boarding?
You can drop-off or pick-up your pet during the following hours:
Monday through Friday: 8:00am – 10:30am and 4:00pm – 5:30pm
Saturday: 8:00am – 10:30am
Sunday: 4:00pm – 5:30pm
We can accomodate drop-off and pick-up outside the hours posted above if required so long as it is prearranged in advance, by appointment only.
Do you offer day boarding?
Yes, we offer day care for pets including indoor and outdoor play and socialization with other dogs. THis is available for both half-days (7am to 12 noon) and full-days (7am to 5:30pm). This option is for sociable dogs only.
Do I need to bring anything for my pet while boarding?
Yes. Please bring your dog's regular food in a solid plastic or rubber container with a measuring cup included inside the container. It is important that your dog be fed his regular diet during his stay to ensure digestive wellness. If required, we can provide food at $2/cup. We currently serve Science Diet Premium.
Please bring any medications your pet may require. We will administer any medications or vitamins your pet needs during his stay. Please have all medications clearly labelled with instructions and your veterinarian's information.
We also require a current certificate of vaccination as verification before we can board your pet with us.
Please bring your dog's regular leash and ensure that he/she is wearing a collar.
Though not necessary, you can bring your dog's favourite sleeping cushion or pillow for his/her indoor space.
What are the vaccination requirements for boarding?
At COUNTRY ESTATE KENNELS Resort & Spa, we require that our visitors be up to date with all of their annual vaccines. These include rabies, distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, parvovirus, and BORDETELLA, otherwise known as kennel cough. We require a current certificate of vaccination as verification before we can board your pet with us. Please bring your certificate with you, or have your vet email us a copy beforehand. We also confirm FLEA protection has been taken care of with each of our guests.
Can I tour the kennel?
We would be happy to give you a tour during our drop-off and pick-up hours:
Monday through Friday: 8:00am – 10:30am and 4:00pm – 5:30pm
Saturday: 8:00am – 10:30am
Sunday: 4:00pm – 5:30pm

What days are you CLOSED during the year?
Though staff is busy working 365 days of the year, COUNTRY ESTATE KENNELS Resort & Spa is closed for drop-off and pick-up on the following holidays:

Do you fill-up or sell-out?
Yes, we do. We generally fill up holiday weekends, school vacations and during the summer months and, therefore, recommend making reservations for your pet as early as possible. It is a good idea to book a space in the kennel at the same time you book a space for you to stay with your family. Once we are full, we begin a waiting list for any possible future cancellations. We try our best to accommodate all the pets we can safely board.
How are boarding fees calculated?
Boarding fees begin the day you check in your pet, regardless of the time (morning or afternoon pick-up/drop-off). If you pick-up your pet during our morning hours, you are charged a half-day rate for that day. If you pick-up during our afternoon hours, you are charged a full-day rate for that day.
Long weekends (Friday - Monday), March Break, and Christmas Holidays (December 23 - January 2 inclusive) we charge an additional $5/day for our guests over and above our general and special (dogs under 9 months old, giant breeds, aggressive dogs and unsociable dogs) boarding rates.
